EIFO and Nalik Ventures have signed a Letter of Intent concerning possible co-financing of up to 50 percent of the next development phase of Arctic ilua.
It is a positive indication and a useful basis for the work ahead. A Letter of Intent is not a final financing commitment; the remaining financing and final agreements still need to be secured.
Arctic ilua is a greenhouse concept for Arctic conditions. The next phase is about making it more concrete through engineering, material choices, supplier clarification, energy and cultivation assessments, and preparation of a first prototype.
Narsarsuaq is the test and field base. This is where the design must meet wind, cold, low solar angles, logistics and practical conditions that cannot be resolved on a screen alone.
Ilua is continuing its dialogue with funding sources, specialists and suppliers. The aim is not to present a finished product before the evidence exists, but to bring Arctic ilua to a stage where construction, cost and performance can be assessed on a stronger documented basis.
