A microclimate is not a product that can simply be bought. It emerges where sun, wind, terrain, surfaces, water and planting meet.
Ilua approaches microclimate as a physical design task. The aim is to understand how a specific place can provide more shelter, more useful sunlight, lower heat loss or better conditions for cultivation and outdoor use.
The work begins with orientation, sun paths, wind directions, terrain and the way people or plants will actually use the site. Only then does it make sense to design shelter, thermal mass, planting or structures.
This can be relevant around a greenhouse, in a garden, at an institution or in a shared outdoor space. The method remains the same: measure what matters, design simply and work with the forces already present.
Ilua can contribute site analysis, microclimate assessment, concept design, visualisation and a design basis. Where detailed engineering or specialist calculations are required, the work is carried out with relevant professionals.
